PIV (People Invited) brings their characteristic house sound to the NDSM-werf. Since the founding in 2015 by Prunk, PIV grew out into a global movement inspired by the timeless sound of New York and Chicago house. With shows at leading clubs and festivals worldwide, PIV stands for inclusivity, quality and community. Expect an energetic and euphoric experience where house music is for everyone.

Festifest is a yearly, intimate and energetic music festival on the NDSM-werf, near Noorderlicht. With a focus on house, disco and italo it is known for it’s warm realm, creative decorations and strong line-up. Spread over three stages you discover a mix of great names, new talent and mainly good vibes with friends.

Tropikali is a colourful, two day queerfestival on the NDSM-werf where inclusivity, self-expression and community are central. With multiple stages and an eclectic line, from Latin house and reggaeton to techno and Balkan beats, the festival brings a unique mix of cultures and sounds. A part full of colour, music and community that you don’t want to miss.

For ten years, 3X3 Unites strengthens young people through sport, from local squares to an international community. The 3X3 Festivals marks a new chapter and brings together everything 3x3 stands for: development, top-level sport, the power of young people, community and street culture. From 19 June till 21 June the NDSM-werf changes into the beating heart of 3X3 basketball. From World Tour and Women’s Series to the 3x3 Street League Finals: street and elite come together here.

Under Pressure is the winning project of the NDSM Open Call 2023 by Catarina Garcia and Jim Du Pan. The winning proposal consists of a colossal steel sphere that appears to rise above the shipyard. The base of the work is formed by Crane 7, a derelict crane that in its heyday transported pieces of steel from the warehouse to the slipways, where ships were assembled and restored. The sphere is illuminated from within and functions as a beacon of light for the surrounding area, also visible from the water. The frame of the sphere is wrapped in plants that change with the seasons.

IN TUNE is about finding a new balance between human beings and their environment by appealing to our capacity for hearing and listening. Just as tuning a musical instrument requires extremely attentive listening and observation, we must continue to listen and, as humans, tune ourselves to our surroundings. In Tune is active from 12:00 to 17:00, with an interval of 5 minutes.

De twee winnaars van de NDSM Open Call 2024 die we nu in 2025 presenteren, Look Up van Renée Marcus Janssen en Shells van Lyangelo Vasquez, warenn vanaf 12 September te zien in de NDSM Loods. Met de jaarlijkse NDSM Open Call maken Stichting NDSM-werf en Kinetisch Noord kunstprojecten mogelijk van kunstenaars en creatieven, gevestigd op de voormalige scheepswerf in Amsterdam-Noord.

Vanaf 14 mei is Wish Me Well te zien op de NDSM-werf. Dit tijdelijke, zeven meter hoge monument van kunstenaar Lara Schnitger verrijst op een prominente plek bij de pontaanlanding. De sculptuur verbeeldt een strijdster die feministische waarden omarmt en verdedigt, en fungeert als een krachtig baken voor emancipatie in de publieke ruimte. De officiële opening vindt plaats op 13 mei.
