On the external story platform, underexposed stories about NDSM and the city are stored and shared. You'll hear personal stories from former employees, migrant workers, artists and creatives, plus music and podcasts about urban development and diaspora. In this way, discover new perspectives on NDSM and the city.

What stories are valuable when a place changes? How can stories that are important to the city be preserved? On the Kinship Library website, you'll hear voices and stories that are often understudied and should not be lost. From understudied stories that give voice to NDSM's histories to music and podcasts from Afaina de Jong's archive that bring feminist and understudied perspectives on urban development and music with roots in the diaspora.
Jesper Buursink and Fouad Lakbir from Stratenmakers Audio Collective have recorded the personal stories of people with a connection to the NDSM shipyard: of former employees, migrant workers and pioneering artists and creatives who played a role there in various ways.
