The NDSM Wharf, located on the IJ waterfront and just a stone’s throw from Amsterdam city centre, is a unique location for a variety of purposes. The site is often rented for festivals and other (cultural) activities and is also a popular, photogenic setting for music videos and photoshoots.

Photo / Film Shoots
Do you want to film or photograph the NDSM Wharf for a commercial advertisement, film, or photoshoot? Permission from Stichting NDSM-werf is required. For more information and to arrange a location agreement, contact evenementen@ndsm.nl. Please note: a free notification to the municipality is also mandatory for this type of use.

Do you want to do a small-scale shoot on the NDSM Wharf (max. 3 people) for personal, non-commercial use?
This is allowed, provided the following conditions are met:

• The shoot is voluntary and informal.
• Artworks on the site may not be occupied for more than 15 minutes. This rule is actively enforced.
