Since the founding in 2015 by Prunk, PIV grew out into a global movement inspired by the timeless sound of New York and Chicago house. Women In Street Art Weekend

From June 5 till June 7, STRAAT Museum organizes the first Women In Street Art Weekend. During this weekend, female street artists take center stage with a programme full of live painting, workshops, tours and talks. With WISA, STRAAT offers space to both established and emerging makers and places inclusivity and representation within the street art-scene at the center.

For this exhibition, Hessel Pijnaker presents an installation in which painting, textiles, and spatial elements come together.Paintings, canvases and rugs together form an environment that invites visitors to move around, discover, and reflect on the relationship between art, space and experience. The installation is the result of an ongoing artistic development.

Festifest is a yearly, intimate and energetic music festival on the NDSM-werf, near Noorderlicht. With a focus on house, disco and italo it is known for it’s warm realm, creative decorations and strong line-up. Spread over three stages you discover a mix of great names, new talent and mainly good vibes with friends.
NDSM Kunst Toer

Stichting NDSM-werf organiseert speciale Kunst Toers. Tijdens deze wandeling hoor je meer over de tijdelijke kunstwerken, de makers en waarom ze passen op NDSM. De Kunst Toer wordt meestal gegeven door kunstenaar Su Tomesen en een speciale gast. De tweede Kunst Toer vindt plaats op 12 juli met als gast: Gabriel Lester, oprichter van PolyLester. De volgende Kunst Toers vinden plaats op 2 augustus, 23 augustus en 3 oktober. Houd hiervoor de agenda in de gaten.

At the NDSM Children's Atelier, imagination takes center stage. Children design and create their own unique pieces using a wide variety of recycled materials from the artists' studios on the wharf. Guided by these artists, who believe that every child is creative and can be encouraged to bring their ideas to life, children work from concept to creation. Wish Me Well

From May 14, Wish Me Well will be on display at NDSM. This temporary, seven-metre-high monument by artist Lara Schnitger rises in a prominent spot at the ferry landing. The sculpture depicts a warrior who embraces and defends feminist values, and acts as a powerful beacon for emancipation in the public space. The official opening will take place on May 13.
NDSM Giants & 3x3 legacy courts

From April 24, the NDSM Giants will be on display at NDSM. Three eight-metre-high concrete sculptures designed by Gabriel Lester (PolyLester) are rising on the site. The giant basketball players, caught in movement, show from varying perspectives an exciting game between stillness and dynamism, between figuration and abstraction.
