Into The Woods takes you through the industrial warehouses and open-air stages, filled with light art and surprising installations. Starting September 25, Stichting NDSM-werf presents The Argonauts at NDSM, a new public artwork by British artist Ivan Morison: a group of three monumental sculptures that introduce strange embodied forms into the post-industrial landscape of NDSM.

What makes your inner spark burn bright? It is with this question that artist Isa van Lier enters into conversation with pupils aged 10–12 at Basisschool De Baanbreker, located next to NDSM. These conversations form the starting point for a collaborative art project that will culminate in 2027 in the construction of a lighthouse-shaped sculpture at NDSM.

From April 24, the NDSM Giants will be on display at NDSM. Three eight-metre-high concrete sculptures designed by Gabriel Lester (PolyLester) are rising on the site. The giant basketball players, caught in movement, show from varying perspectives an exciting game between stillness and dynamism, between figuration and abstraction.

The text work created for NDSM by artist Lily van der Stokker is a soft and critical counterbalance to the raw character of the former shipyard, dominated by male creators.

IN TUNE is about finding a new balance between human beings and their environment by appealing to our capacity for hearing and listening. Just as tuning a musical instrument requires extremely attentive listening and observation, we must continue to listen and, as humans, tune ourselves to our surroundings. In Tune is active from 12:00 to 17:00, with an interval of 5 minutes.
