Firestarter is about the courage to get started. Illustrator Gabi Brunhoso takes threads from old patterns and weaves them into new structures. For Gabi, igniting your inner flame means moving, changing, and creating. This work invites you to trust yourself, be brave, and follow your dreams.
About Gabi Brunhoso
Gabi Brunhoso, an illustrator and visual artist from Amsterdam, brings her striking lines, playful figures and festive energy to the shipyard. With her project, she invites you to break old patterns, add color and follow your dreams by actually acting on them.
About Stichting NDSM-werf
Stichting NDSM-werf programs and manages the monumental outdoor space of NDSM as a cultural wharf, with its public character, creative experimentation and multiple perspectives at its core. The foundation develops and presents site-specific installations and artworks by and with artists, designers and architects.
