NDSM Vrijahven is our own King's Day event at the NDSM shipyard. Every year, we transform the shipyard into a bustling free port where freedom, imagination and encounter are key. Not a standard party, but a day where the raw energy of the site meets music, art, games and togetherness.

About NDSM Vrijhaven
Amsterdam's largest child-free market is the heart of the day: a place where young sellers display their treasures and visitors can stroll endlessly. But NDSM Vrijhaven is more than just a market. Throughout the shipyard, you will find live music, DJ sets, performances, workshops, street activities and surprising collaborations with our cultural and hospitality partners. There's plenty of space for kids to play and explore — from creative workshops to sports and attractions. For adults, there is music, good food and drinks, and plenty of space to meet each other. Everything takes place against the shipyard's unique, industrial decor. NDSM Vrijhaven is free of charge and open to everyone.

About Stichting NDSM-werf
Stichting NDSM-werf programs and manages NDSM's monumental outdoor space as a cultural shipyard and presents publicly accessible events, including their own NDSM Vrijhaven event, with space for experimentation and encounters. Several major events take place every year, such as Into the Woods, Tropikali and the IJ-Hallen Market.
