Opening: The Argonauts 24 September

Stichting NDSM-werf presents The Argonauts, a new public artwork by British artist Ivan Morison. The installation consists of three monumental sculptures that introduce strange, bodily forms into the post-industrial landscape of the NDSM-werf. As a collection of outsiders, The Argonauts exist somewhere between body and landscape, between concealment and transformation. The opening takes place on 24 September, and everyone is welcome!

Constructed from locally sourced agricultural materials and covered in a hardened mineral skin, the sculptures exist somewhere between body and landscape, between concealment and transformation. Inspired by queer ecological thinking and the dynamics of relational power, The Argonauts invites us to explore new ways of coming together and experiencing public space.

Opening: donderdag 24 september van 17:30 tot 19:30 uur, programme follows.
