3Package Deal AFK
The 3Package Deal from the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts (AFK) supports international, emerging artists with a development budget, workspace, and access to a strong Amsterdam network. Each year, artists are selected and mentored by collaborating institutions.
Last year, Stichting NDSM-werf worked within the Urban Realm coalition with Iranian filmmaker and theatre maker Mahsa Koochak. In her work, she explores the role of touch, care, and non-verbal communication through film, performance, and installation, questioning the boundaries of identity and perception.
This year, NDSM-werf, together with DAS Theatre and Platform Horizon, is mentoring Colombian performer and choreographer Juan Felipe Amaya González (JFAG). His practice moves between performance, sound, and spatial interventions and is highly collaborative in nature. In his work, he investigates how presence and visibility are shaped by societal and bureaucratic systems, resulting in performative sound works and interventions in public space.
