The only way is up

VAAF's design for the container arch colorfully depicts the New Horizons theme.. Under the title The only way is up is a sun that looks like an eye at the same time, painted. Various female faces appear on either side of the sun, evoking a feminist horizon.

About VAAF
VAAF makes paintings, illustrations, clothing and anything that can use color, but is best known for large-scale murals. They mainly work with paint, hence the name 'VAAF', Groningen dialect for 'paint'. Their style is colorful, playful, feminist and, above all, big. With this work, VAAF contributes to the continued imagination of the NDSM shipyard as a place for experimentation, encounters and new perspectives.
