Stichting NDSM-werf is organising a special Art Tour. During this walking tour, you’ll learn more about the temporary artworks, the artists behind them, and why they fit so well at NDSM. The Art Tour will be led by artist and guide Su Tomesen, with special guest Henk Schut.

During this NDSM Art Tour, artist Henk Schut will talk about his work IN Tune, an installation centred around sound and space. Schut explores how sound can influence the way we experience a place, inviting visitors to experience the NDSM Wharf through a different sense.
During the tour, Schut will share more about the creation of IN Tune, his long-standing relationship with NDSM and the role of sound, architecture and space in his work. Afterwards, artist Su Tomesen will guide you past other artworks across the wharf, sharing stories about the artists, their works and their connection to this unique place.
About Henk Schut
Henk Schut has been working on the former shipyard for more than twenty years. He is known for large-scale installations that bring together architecture, sound and their surroundings. With an open and curious approach, he explores how a place can be re-experienced and seen differently through sound.
