Afaina de Jongs contribution, 'The Multiplicity of Other', in the Dutch Pavilion during the 17th Architecture Biennale in Venice, challenges dominant architectural frameworks and explores alternative approaches to space. In the 'Space of Other' in the Dutch Pavilion  she speaks with Emanuel Admassu, an architect, urbanist, and educator exploring spatial justice in urban development, with a focus on the African continent and its diaspora.

'Space of Other', a submission for the Dutch Pavilion, was presented at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2021.
