Kamil Nalbantoglu came to Amsterdam from Turkey in 1968. In the video, he shares his memories of his time at the NDSM wharf, his loyalty to the place and life as a worker.

The video portraits were made by documentary filmmaker Fadime Demir and commissioned by the Amsterdam Museum. They were previously shown during the Amsterdam Museum's 2012 exhibition 'Turkish Pioneers in Amsterdam'.
