What does the NDSM warehouse sound like?

Story of Henk Schut by Stratenmakers Audiocollectief
23 Apr 2025

As an NDSM artist from the very beginning, Henk Schut has been working on the former shipyard for over 20 years. He’s fascinated by sound and the hidden stories it carries with it. What sounds used to fill the warehouse? How have those sounds changed over the years? And what do they reveal about the place - and the people who live and work there?

The audio is only available in Dutch.
