Venues at NDSM

The NDSM is an area where creativity and innovative ideas come together; a unique location that attracts a variety of visitors. In addition, due to the special character of the former old shipyard, the shipyard is very attractive for a variety of events. As the NDSM-werf Foundation, we are therefore proud to program this unique countryside that is bustling with activities in the summer. The shipyard is known in Amsterdam as the epic center of various festivals, art programs, concerts, fun markets and much more. Interested in organizing something at NDSM?

The NDSM is available as a location for various purposes. The shipyard has a unique character and is located on the historic site on the banks of the IJ, a stone's throw from the city center of Amsterdam. The outdoor area is regularly rented out to festivals and other (cultural) activities. In addition, NDSM is a very photogenic location. The shipyard therefore regularly appears in video clips and often forms the backdrop for photo shoots.
