Photo/film shoots
Do you want to capture NDSM in a commercial, film, or do you want to use the area during a photo shoot? You need permission for this from Stichting NDSM-werf through means of a location contract, and an additional report to the municipality is required. Please contact evenementen@ndsm.nl for more information and assistance.
Would you like to do a small-scale shoot (max. 3 people) at the NDSM wharf for personal, non-commercial use? This is allowed at the NDSM wharf, provided that the artworks on the terrain are not excessively occupied by the production (longer than 15 minutes). This is monitored continuously at NDSM.
Guided tours
Curious about the history of the shipyard, cultural developments and art at NDSM? Stichting NDSM-werf organizes guided tours of the shipyard for groups (max. 20 people per group). Events
The NDSM is an area where creativity and innovative ideas come together; a unique location that attracts a variety of visitors. In addition, due to the special character of the former old shipyard, the shipyard is very attractive for a variety of events. As the NDSM-werf Foundation, we are therefore proud to program this unique countryside that is bustling with activities in the summer. The shipyard is known in Amsterdam as the epic center of various festivals, art programs, concerts, fun markets and much more. Interested in organizing something at NDSM?
Venues at NDSM
NDSM is a characteristic spot in Amsterdam-Noord. Where the city's frayed edges used to be, it is now a bustling hotspot where everyone can indulge their cultural heart. A place for visitors to wander and be inspired by all the art and creativity on site. The area of no less than 10 hectares has many different organizations, companies, residents, artists and creatives and together they form NDSM; the most colorful and raw part of Amsterdam with views over the IJ in the background.
