There’s a piece of NDSM’s history that’s often overlooked. After the shipyard went bankrupt, sewing workshops began settling on the site in the late 1980s, producing clothing for major Dutch retail chains.
Kübra Terzi’s parents worked in one of those workshops. She’s eager to share this story - to reclaim a part of history that’s also her family history. A family history woven with a red thread through Amsterdam North.
