Nahir Francis has spent a lifetime experiencing moments of hope and magic as a black non-binary person. Many days hope is needed. Sometimes there is none that can be found. By connecting with the personal magic of existence Nahir has found hope through the tool of vocal and physical expression.
Existing in Space is an audio and visual performance piece meant to incite wonder and thought, to contribute to the development of hope. It is a piece to encourage human souls to express themselves and acknowledge each other, especially black “non-binary” beings.
