Aquatic Tales

Thursday 21st July, 19:30 – 23:00 hrs, at MACA (Moving Arts Centre Amsterdam), Ms. van Riemsdijkweg 61, 1033 RC Amsterdam

Aquatic Tales presents three films that merge elements of documentary, fiction and abstraction, with water and aquatic life as central elements. The night journeys from a microscopic view of microorganisms living in the Oslo Fjord, hidden to the naked human eye; to an encounter with algae in Roman baths, laboratories and a glass of water; finally zooming out to the violent destruction of oil and gas platforms that have been lifted from the sea.
