Street-art museum “STRAAT” opens on October 9

On Friday, October 9th, street-art museum STRAAT is opening its doors. You can now admire the spraypaint that has long decorated the outside spaces of the NDSM-wharf in a new indoor space as well! The museum is located in the Lasloods – right next to the NDSM Loods which hosts events such as IJ-hallen. The museum, which is over 7000 square meter, takes you to the gigantic surfaces of many impressive graffiti works. In these works, you can discover the visions of artists created for streets and walls from all over the world.

STRAAT’s huge exhibition spaces will make you forget that you’re actually inside and not outside. Instead, it takes you on a journey through streets, walls, bridges, alleyways, and other urban spaces that street artists reappropriate. So, sunshine or rain, come visit STRAAT and lose yourself in one of the biggest art movements of all time!
