GOING PLACES | REGGAE VIBRATIONS
During this edition of Going Places, we will travel to the Caribbean. Under the Reggae Vibrations flag, on Friday 28 July Pllek will be transformed for one night only into a real ‘Little Jamaica’. The evening starts at 21h00 with the opening of an exhibition, followed by the open air screening of I Am Bolt (2016), the latest documentary about Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt: the fastest man in the world. Straight after the film, Bagjuice (live) will get the party started with their explosive reggae/dub sound, indoors in the café/restaurant. DJs Back-a-Wall and Empress Messenjah then take over, spinning their favourite up-tempo reggae discs deep into the night. Delicious vegetarian Surinamese snacks from Ital Journey Catering top off the Caribbean vibes. Massive!
