Bomen
Bomen is the second performance of sculptor Hanneke de Munck with literary project Villa The Black Horse.
In the Minitheater below Helling-X, an intimate landscape of music and poetry unfolds, inspired by trees, surrounded by rugged woods sculptures. The show opens with a 17th-century English lamentation in which the abandoned lover sees himself with a willow wreath as a sign of mourning. Then Hanneke de Munck brings a poetic text of Russian poet Julia Idlis, about the desire and loneliness of a tree in an orchard. The poet is translated by Nina Targan Mouravi.
