Under the name “Young Curator”, the NDSM-werf Foundation annually invites a novice curator to intervene in the NDSM's public space.
This year, the NDSM-werf Foundation and QISSA, the talent platform for storytellers, literary innovators, screenwriters and stage performers of tomorrow, joining forces.

Do you really listen to everyone all the time? Regardless of the topic? Because listening isn't just hearing. Active listening also includes reflection. And it is precisely that reflection in the context of our colonial past that  Charmaine de Heij uses as the theme to fill her program and curatorship. Because the voices, experiences and stories surrounding this theme are still ignored, marginalized, forgotten and unheard. As a multidisciplinary artist, Charmaine likes to explore multiple art forms at the same time and will give substance to her Young Curatorship with wild posting, spoken word, a talk and a short film screening.
